Wednesday, February 18 Berthoud Community Library District Free to Basic Chamber members and their guests. $5 for Directory members and non-members.Business After Hours
We have a special event planned. Along with the Business After Hours....
Supporting our teachers is important because they are educating our future business leaders.
*Donate a $100 bill to the "Teacher's Drawing" (only those present can enter to win).
*Team up with friends or other businesses to donate a $100 bill for the "Teacher's Drawing."
*Donate a gift card to a store where supplies can be purchased.
*Give a discount if you are a store owner where supplies can be purchased.
*Donate school supplies to our local teachers.
Supplies needed: Boxes of Kleenex, individual packets of disinfectant wipes, pencils, markers, crayons, glue sticks, eraser tips, pens, folders, scissors, books for classroom libraries
The High School Science Department needs:
balloons, nitrile gloves (s, m, lg), cotton balls, disinfectant wipes, glue sticks, duct tape, scotch tape, batteries (AA, AAA), color pencils, alcohol (isopropyl 92%), construction paper, fine tip permanent markers (all colors), storage bins, vinegar, highlighters, sugar (approx. 40 lbs), plastic rulers, salt (NON-iodized), baking soda, Ziploc bags (sandwich, qt, gal), and aluminum foil.
*Find out if there is another way to help in the classroom.
*If you can't make it to our event, you can still make a monetary donation in advance.
*Donations are due to the Chamber Office by Friday, February 13.
The Library will have their Digital Studio set up for people to have fun with the equipment they have for STEM and arts activities. They will also invite people to help them make a video honoring teachers by sharing a 1-2 minute story about a favorite teacher from your past. Then they will post it to You Tube as created by the library and the chamber.
