Be Ready/United Way Attendees:
The Raising of America: Are We Crazy About Our Kids? brings a return-on-investment lens to the value of high-quality early learning experiences in childcare and preschool settings. It features educators, business leaders, and economists documenting the argument that these enriched early learning experiences save society money in the long run ? in education, social services, prison costs, and long-term contributions to our communities. This thirty-minute documentary asks the question: If we know so much about the value of early childhood education, why aren?t we doing more about it?
Following the documentary, Marcy Yoder (United Way of Larimer County) and Mims Harris (Be Ready) will talk briefly about United Way of Larimer County and their involvement in the Be Ready School Readiness Awareness campaign.
