About Us

House of Neighborly Service opened a Berthoud branch in 1989 to provide life-sustaining emergency and basic needs to the residents of Berthoud and the surrounding area. We expanded in October of 2017 to become the Berthoud Life Center, partnering with nine other agencies to provide the resources to survive and the vision to thrive in our community.

All services are considered on a case by case basis and eligibility is determined by HNS guidelines and based on availability of funds and resources.
