VPNs: What they are, how to use them,
how they protect you and how they don't.
Christopher Smith is the owner and lead consultant for Compustar in Loveland. Chris was introduced to computers at a very young age when home computers first appeared on the market in the late 1970s. Through the late 80s, 90s and early 2000s he has worked in software design, computer hardware and software troubleshooting and repair, network administration, enterprise technical support, technical training, and information security consulting. Tired of close to a 20-year career in the daily grind of technical work, he decided to leave his job at Hewlett-Packard 2007 and go into business for himself. A year later he officially formed Compustar, a computing services company specifically supporting very small businesses in Larimer County and surrounding areas. Chris focuses on ensuring Compustar clients have a simple, enjoyable and reliable experience working with technology.
