2025 Annual Gala Award Nominations

Calling for Award Nominations! - Ordinary People Doing Extraordinary Things!

The Berthoud Area Chamber of Commerce is requesting nominations for the following awards to be given at the Annual Gala Awards Dinner- Boots, Roots & Growth presented by Bank of Colorado and hosted by Grace Place.

OUR MISSION is to serve as the unwavering voice of our local business community. We promote collaboration, advocate for businesses, and provide high-quality networking and professional development opportunities to our members. We foster an empowering and vibrant business community for all our stakeholders.

Nomination forms MUST be RECEIVED by JANUARY 24TH, 2025 5PM.

1. A winner/recipient of an award can only win once every five years. (see previous winners in description of nomination)
2. Must have between 100-300 words on nomination form
3. The person/business you nominate MUST meet the criteria to be considered.

Awards Criteria:
1. Business of the Year – Minimum – must be a BACC member at least one year, must be in business at least two years
2. Citizen of the Year – Community at Large
3. Doctors Fickel Award - Community at Large
4. Non-Profit of the Year Award – Minimum – must be a BACC member at least one year, must be in business at least two years

The Business of the Year Award is to recognize a business member of the Berthoud Area Chamber of Commerce who demonstrates community spirit and involvement, high standards of professionalism and integrity. (Past recipients: Da Bean; MainStreet Car Care & Quick Lube; Jones Excavating Inc., Berthoud Brewing Company) The person/business you nominate, may not meet the criteria and therefore, will not be considered. Citizen of the Year Award: The Citizen of the Year Award is to recognize a member of the community for their outstanding contributions to the community. This award recipient must be a Berthoud resident. (Past recipients: Sgt. Jim Anderson; Jan & Ken Grack; John Beck, Sgt. Justin Williamson)
Non-Profit of the Year Award: The Non-Profit of the Year Award is to recognize a non-profit member of the Berthoud Area Chamber of Commerce who demonstrates community spirit and involvement, high standards of professionalism and integrity. (Past recipients: Wildfire Community Arts Center; Let’s PLANet Giving & RAFT, Berthoud Lions Club)
Doctors Fickel Award: The Doctors Fickel Award is to recognize a member (or members) of the community for their outstanding philanthropic efforts. (Jan & Ken Grack; Whitney Way; Miranda Rider, New Freedom Outreach Center)
